Universals

There aren’t many things that everyone has.

Even in this day and age, not everyone has a Facebook. Or a phone. Or electricity.

You don't need a voice to speak. Or sight to read. But regardless, not everyone can do either.

Everyone has an origin, but not everyone has someone worthy of being called parent. Those without families, without homes aren't as rare as you'd hope.

It is rare for someone to lack fear.

It's rarer still for someone to lack a name.

Not every woman has a uterus. Not every man has a penis. Not every person has a gender.

There are some rights everyone starts with you can squander. Freedom. Respect.

There are some rights you can't. Food. Water. Shelter.

But, more than that, there is something we all have.

We all have wings.

You may not be able to see them, but they're there.

Quests in Chuubo's

So, as I mentioned, I've been reading Chuubo's Marvelous Wish-Granting Engine. It's by Jenna Moran of Hitherby fame, and it's a sort of companion or hack of her longstanding Nobilis system. It's sorta, Nobilis isn't anime enough, let's add a new setting that's kind of the same setting only not.
