Sometimes, there's nothing like a freshly toasted bagel with cream cheese. (Thanks for the toaster and all the other stuff, mom!)

I saw Mike the Freshman today. It was totally out of the blue; he was sitting on a bench near EC talking on his cell phone. Apparently, he's taking a year off before going to college, and one thing he's doing is touring colleges he might want to go to. He said he's going to be doing some research work this year. I talked to him some; he said he might come back tomorrow to look around more.

Of course, tomorrow should be plenty busy: I need to finish my Research Proposal for UROP between 21F.503 and 18.02 so I can go over it with Michael (grad student) either between 18.02 and 3.091 recitation (which I should probably cut) or afterwards, so I can get signatures and so on for turning it in before five the next day. Isn't complexity wonderful? At least I managed to get my 18.02 pset all done...

Off to bed.

P.S. Should I be worried that Vecna is sponsoring the MIT Career fair? ^_^
