Today was boring: shopping (yay needle-nose pliers), chest xray, new temps test (boo original-form-requiring BMVers), mad rush of garb.

Yesterday was somewhat more interesting:
Failed my first drivers test (in wonderful [livejournal.com profile] krint01's car). Will retake after Pennsic.
Went to the Cleveland Buddhist Temple. (I'd say I went to temple, except that I'd confuse even more people into thinking I'm jewish, and furthermore confuse them about what day of the week it is.) •. Quite empty.
Garbgarbgarbgarbgarbgarbgarbgarbgarbgarb...

Enough stuff for now.

Acually, you can go to synogauge every day, if you really wanted to. They used to force me to pray every day at SSDS. Not fun. Not fun at all.

What got you? (On the driving test, I mean.)

A vampire. And maneuverability. I need to practice it some more.

Did you have a nighttime driving test, or was the vampire covered in a blanket? And actually, even the blankets don't work so well -- they start giving off smoke after a few minutes, but it keeps them from frying right away.

I know, I'm a huge Buffy geek. And I like my vampire encyclopedia way too much, even though I've yet to really sit down and look through it. Just the fact that I have it and it's bitter than my copy of LotR makes me happy.

Ah, maneuverability. I failed that on my first try. I hadn't practiced enough (and the fact that it was snowing didn't help). Just practice and you'll get it. Learning to use your side mirrors properly (knowing which one to watch when) is very helpful.

As far as vampires go, I suggest garlic, crosses (possibly other religious symbols will work as well), and holy water. Save the wooden stakes for an absolute emergency.

The place I'd go if the world was being overrun by [Christian] vampires would be Villanova University, near Philadelphia. A church would be closer, but most churches I've been to don't have vampire-proof computer labs.
