Hiking and Fennel

I saw Knives Out a bit ago, about thirty million years after everyone else, and the craft in that movie was amazing. A++ would watch again. I hear the sequel's not as good but I'll be watching it soon regardless.

Finished reading Flaming Arrows by Bruce Holland Rogers, which was fun and nostalgic and made me think about his old pre-Patreon Patreon-alike.

Yesterday we did a nice hike around Great Brook Farm State Park, found some rose hips and saw cattails and such.

I also made my Fennel Sauce, which is always a lot of fun and tasty and a good way to take advantage of local peppers.

The previous day we did a short evening walk around Arlington's Great Meadows, maybe saw a great horned owl in flight.

We also recently got some steeplebushes for the area to the right of our front walk, hopefully they'll establish.

I dunno, feeling okay about stuff but also pretty thoughtful on the whole.
